BIRTH SUPPORT OFFERINGS

Available via phone/text/email from date of hire

• Review your preferences and goals for your birth. 
• Assist you in creating or expanding on your birth preferences document.
• Provide evidence-based information and professional resources as requested. 
• Review non-medicated coping strategies for the labor journey.
• ​I take the time to get to know you and your network of support including your partner, any older siblings, pets and extended relatives/attendants who may be present during the birth.

On-call availability from 37 weeks until you give birth.

Dependable back-up doula arrangement

I join you at your home or birthing place once it is determined that you are in an active labor pattern and would like my added support. 

I will stay with you for 1-2 hours after your baby is born to support your initial postpartum recovery time and feeding initiation.

A personal check-in on your postpartum recovery, feeding and bonding relationship with your baby (within my scope of practice), and how you are adjusting emotionally and processing your new role as a parent. We will also have the opportunity to reflect on your birth experience. Each visit is approximately 1 hour

• Phone/text support throughout pregnancy
• Review your preferences and goals for your birth. 
• Assist you in creating or expanding on your birth preferences document.
• Review non-medicated coping strategies for the labor journey.
• Provide evidence based information and professional resources as requested. 

• Virtual Doula support (phone calls, chat, and video calls) throughout your labor at home and at the birthplace or hospital.
• 1 optional 30-minute virtual postpartum session to celebrate the birth of your baby and answer any immediate questions following childbirth.
